I tried running Linux as my main gaming PC OS. It was short lived but I’m not giving up! Here’s where I’m at: Jan 25: Installed Bazzite late at night. Didn’t have enough time to install games. Jan 26: Tinkered some more with Bazzite. Noticed that my computer monitors won’t turn on unless my TV is on (I have 3 screen plugged in). Also, why doesn’t 1password save my 2FA tokens when I login ?!? Jan 27: The monitor thing is really bothering me. I might need to create an EID (is that right?). All this time I haven’t gamed.…

Things I’m digging – October 2025

I’m still here but working a lot. Managed to finally roll credits on Donkey Kong Bananza. I was super happy with the game, but boy did that last 1/4 of the game drag before getting it together for the finale. Wish there was a way to skip a few layers :D. Between work, catching on TV shows with Jen and a little bit of reading, I’ve put 30 hours into Ghost of Yotei and am having a blast. They didn’t reinvent the wheel too much and I do not mind. Oh Hello

We’re racing towards winter. I can’t wait for sweatshirt season if I’m being honest. The fitness journey is going. I’ve lost a bit more weight and added muscle according to my scale. Still have a ways to go. Had multiple birhtday celebrations with family and friends across these last two weeks. Was a wonderful time. Partied too hard, but that’s how I live. My friend Mikey is launching a Kickstarter for his game Ultimate Palace. It’s an amazing game. You should support it on September 12! Loveable Deplorables: Caught Stealing

Caught Stealing gave me American Guy Ritchie vibe. It’s the supporting cast (including the cat) who steal the show. Then all know who they are, even if they’re occupying the crime underbelly of 1998 NYC. Hank’s development only comes as a line of bodies are left in his wake. I had fun.

Reflecting at the end of my 30s

It’s been a wild decade I’m writing these with only a few hours left of my 30s. The last 10 years have been kind to me. Jen and I got married. We moved away from Vegas, only to come back. My relationship with my family took interesting turns. I no longer speak with my father. My brother got married. He’s now having a kid. Didn’t see that coming. I’m excited to start my 40s as an uncle! I’ve succeeded in my career ambitions and gone places I could never have. Who knew taking a pay cut a couple times would…
