Updates
- White House – yes, I’m work on it. Complex feelings about it but work is work.
Games
- Completed: Metaphor ReFantazio. It was excellent!
- Now playing: Lost and Found Co., and incredibly charming hidden objects game.
- Also playing: The Last of Us Part 1. I’ve started this game across 3 generations of PlayStation and still have trouble getting to the end. Maybe it’s too slow for me. I can’t wait for it to be over and don’t plan on starting Part 2 or Left Behind anytime soon after.
Tech
- Testing my brother’s app Outerline, a Markdown editor in the style of Obsidian, but built in Swift. You should give it a shot!
- Testing out new apps and canceling some subscriptions.
- TV tracking
- TV Forecast has been buggy AF. The dev says a fix is in test flight. Crossing fingers since I just paid for the lifetime option…
- So now I’m using Sequel for tracking my current and upcoming shows. It offers to track more, but I hid most of the UI and focus on shows.
- Also dabbled with Sofa. It’s a downtime organizer system. I really like the dev and don’t regret my one month sub, but I don’t think this is the right app for me.
- Podcasts:
- Back on Overcast full time. My love for Castro hasn’t stopped, but I’ve experienced too many small, but frequent bugs trying to enjoy the app across phone, desktop, and iPad that’s pushed me to take a pause. I’ll have a longer blog about it soon!
- TV tracking
Movies
- I finished all the Connery Bond films. Haven’t started the Moore series yet.
- Super Mario Galaxy was fun, but not a great movie. There’s so many plot strings that go nowhere.
